H. K. E. Society's S. L. N. College of Engineering is run by H. K. E. Society of Kalaburgi. Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society popularly known as HKE Society, was established in the year 1958 by Late Sri. Mahadevappa Rampure at Gulbarga. The Society stands differently from others in a way that, it imparts education in the backward areas, with matchable education facilities enjoyed by affluent class in developed areas. The college was started in the year 1979 and offers following Courses awarded by VTU, Belagavi.
College has active IEEE student branch and ISTE Chapter:
ICICACS-2023 conference will be organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. This department was established in the year 1984 with an intake of 60 students for UG program. The faculty strength of the department is 11, including 2 Professor, 2 Associate Professors, 7 Assistant Professors. Our 3 faculties have completed their Ph.D. in the area of Embedded System and Image Processing. 2 faculties are pursuing Ph.D. at VTU, Belagavi. The department has well equipped research center and three Research Supervisors recognized by VTU, Belagavi.
